(3 Easy Methods!)
🎯 Option 1: Print It Directly
🖨️ Print the outline directly onto watercolor paper. Quickest and easiest! Just make sure your paper fits your printer.
📝 Option 2: Use Carbon Paper
🟣 What’s Carbon Paper? A thin sheet coated on one side that lets you trace and transfer an image.
💰 Bonus: Inexpensive and reusable!
🪄 Steps:
1️⃣ Print your outline on regular paper.
2️⃣ Place carbon paper (coated side down) on your painting surface.
3️⃣ Put your printed outline on top (image side up).
4️⃣ Tape both layers to prevent shifting.
5️⃣ Trace the outline with a pencil, stylus, or wooden skewer.
🔍 Tip: Peek as you go to check if lines are transferring clearly!
✏️ Option 3: DIY Pencil Transfer
🖨️ Step 1: Print your outline on regular paper.
✏️ Step 2: Flip it over and rub graphite (pencil/crayon) on the back.
📄 Step 3: Place it face-up on your watercolor paper (or other surface), shaded side down.
🖋️ Step 4: Trace your image using a pencil or stylus.
🔒 Tip: Tape it in place to prevent shifting.
🕵️ Check: Gently peek to ensure good transfer!
